Wisdom of Jesse Livermore for iPad. First published on the iPad in 2010, this collection of quotations from works written by, or about, Jesse Livermore provides a unique insight in to the wisdom and methods of the legendary stock trader.

The quotations have been selected by the editor from the renowned biographical account of Jessie Livermore by Edwin Lefèvre entitled Reminiscences of a Stock Operator, first published by the American publishers George H. Doran Company in 1923 and from Livermore’s own book How to Trade in Stocks, first published by Duell, Sloane and Pearce in 1940.

Despite its age, Reminiscences of a Stock Operator is still widely regarded as one of the most important books ever written for traders and it is still widely read and respected today. It gained notoriety in Jack Schwager’s book Market Wizards for being the book most recommended by the best traders to those aspiring to become traders. Jack Schwager writes in the forward to a recent reprint of Lefèvre’s book “Moreover, if I had to bet on which financial books will still be around at the end of the twenty-first century, Reminscences would be at the top of my list.”

The quotations compress years of wisdom gained by an
